The Islington Safeguarding Children Board have designed a leaflet for parents to help them consider how to keep their children safe from extremism and radicalisation, and gives advice on where to turn if they have problems.

Support can also be found at the NSPCC and at Families Against Stress and Trauma http://www.familiesmatter.org.uk/ who provide information for parents who want to know more about radicalisation, e-safety and specific information about the impact of Syria/ Iraq related travel. The website also features FAST’s video campaign showing three people talking openly about the impact of a family member travelling. They each speak of the pain and anguish they felt when their loved one left the UK.
